Friday Grove Day Game

To warm up for Friday night, I went to The Grove to do some day game with my friend Mr. S.

My day game delivery of sexy shoes and horse girl is going really well, and my tendency to drop into normal low energy conversation isn't so negative as it is in night game

I don't really remember the first couple of sets, but I just opened the first girls that were in my vicinity. Both less than 5 minutes

I had some really good sets where I was challenged and won the contest. Case in point:
I deliver horse girl to a girl on the escalator at Barnes & Noble. She doesn't buy it, and says "Do I look like a horse to you?!" Listen to me, I need you to focus. Are you focused... there was this girl. She liked horses... When she gets it, she is like, Oh, I was just messing with you. But her phone is ringing and its her brother and she has to go. (C<5)

A really beautiful blonde walks past, and I run her down. Deliver horse girl, and she about pees herself. I ask her name, and start to go into the Shedding Cat routine, and she asks, "Are you like on some crazy show?" Totally, I'm on the craziest show ever. Don't look at the camera! She thinks the cat routine is fun, but is a little weirded out and wants to leave... (C<5)

I open two girls with horse girl, and get a huge forgiving hug. I start to go into bs normal conversation and want to shoot myself for it, and the friend starts to pull the target away. Hey, this is way more important than going wherever, we are having a bonding moment from our youth. But they are off to dinner with their fiances or something, so off they go (C<5)

I'm walking with Mr. S to head to Whole Foods, and this really hot skinny girl with braids is in sight. Horse Girl. She loves it. Then I do the shedding cat routine, which turns out is challenging on a girl with braids. Then she asks, does this stuff work on girls? All the time... Hmm, OK, that horse thing is kind of funny, but there is something missing. So we vibe a bit on how she would improve horse girl, which mostly involves her acting like she is riding a horse. She makes pastries for a living, but weighs at most 80 lbs. So I pick her up. Literally. I ask for the #, but no go. I comment on her horseshoe necklace, and tell her that I wasn't checking out her chest. Not that I wouldn't, and not that I haven't. I just wasn't. She laughs, and I go for the # again. No deal. So we talk a bit more about whatever, and I go for it again, and this time she hands up the goods. We hug good-bye, and off we go to whole foods. Overall, she tried to leave twice, but Mr. S and I kept her attention and closed the deal. This, despite that she had a giant rock on her finger. (# close)

In Whole Foods, there is an amazing looking woman checking out the oranges. Horse girl. Shedding cat routine. General conversation about moving to LA and finding the grocery store. Brad Pitt. We were having a great interaction, and I go for the #. She says she has a boyfriend, but since I'm new to town and looking for friends... No worries, we need a designated driver when we go on our first date. She laughs, and gives me the #. She says to txt her my email address, because she will invite me to a party (orbiter invitation?)

A few minutes later, I run into her again and accuse her of stalking me. We talk about food, and I invite her out for the best dessert ever. She is into it, so we make soft plans. I text later to confirm and get a response where she mentions about 5 things from our conversation. Nice. (# close)

I had a few blowouts too, where girls just kept walking. I believe I could have corrected this by jumping in front of them. I had one set start speaking to each other in a foreign language, and another where a girl starts talking about how one time, a guy said a line to her, and it was a bunch of BS, let's go. And pulls her friend away. I could have neutralized that by starting to talk to the alpha-girl more aggressively before she got going.

Some things I noticed:
Day game energy is much easier for me, and requires less kino.
It is pretty easy to get hugs with horse girl, just by expecting them.
You can also make girls stay and talk after they try to leave, just by staying put and continuing to talk.
