FR: 1st Tuesday Out

Tonight we went to 2 bottles or models clubs within walking distance of the house, but were rejected at the door. Presumably because we were a 2-person sausage fest. There were no girls in line at either place to pull, so we hopped in my car and went to Cinespace

This was my first time in Cinespace, and it had a good vibe other than it was 80% dudes. Or chics with dudes. Many of these sets ended when a guy came up and pulled the girl away

The first set was a solo girl, and I opened with horse girl. 5 seconds in a guy walks up and puts his arm around her, and he says "Let me guess she looks like her." I just rolled with it and said yeah, she looks just like her, and finished the story. Then the guy says nice meeting you but we were on our way out, and they walk off (C<5)

Next set, I do sexy shoe girl and get a hug in front of the boyfriend, and I chat with him a minute. Then he walks off with her in tow. I reopened her later while she was alone, but when he came back from the bathroom he just grabbed her arm and walked off (C<5)

Next, I opened two girls with eyeliner. Both were pro-guyliner, and were a bit punk. Just my type. But... I just totally blanked on material and started saying Me Too!, because, well, she kept saying stuff that we had in common. Then I shared a story (without a hook question) about my drive down the Pacific Coast Highway. (C<5)

The next girl I approached was crazy hot, and I opened with shoe girl while she was waiting for a drink from the bar. She kept saying uh-huh, uh-huh, then once she got her drink she ran off to the dance floor without so much as a look back (C<5)

Once again, shoe girl. This girl asked me, so is this your normal pick-up line. Its the worst pick up line, ever, but there was this girl... She interrupts again, "She sounds weird. Why are you asking me?" So I wrap up the story, and she laughs, and forgives me with a hug. Then, in swoops a guy and grabs her arm and pulls her off. She says bye with a big smile and squeezes my arm as she walk off (C<5)

That was it for Cinespace, and we walked down to Cahuenga to check out the bars there. Most were pretty dead, but I opened one set. I was low energy, and while talking to this two set, 2 loud dudes walk in and start talking over me, and all attention just drifted away. One guy grabs the elbow of the girl closest to me, and suddenly... I'm out of the group. I started laughing when the guys walked in, because I could see it happen before it did. Not that I did anything to stop it. (C<5)

Overall, a really low energy night for me. I had a few key observations:
I need to be more energetic and loud in club environments, being more animated and more excited in tonality
I am not getting girls to laugh. I need to tease

Summary:
C<5 - 6
